Chose Mr. Home Inspector For Their

Home Inspection Needs…

Since there is no experience required to become a home inspector in Illinois it’s important that you know the facts…

Would you want some inexperienced inspector conducting an inspection on your home? I think I know the answer to that one… but that’s exactly what’s happening to many home buyers in Fox Valley Illinois and surrounding areas.

The only requirement to become a home inspector is to take a class and pass an exam. No hands-on experience is required! No prior experience is required! No “on-the-job” training required! And on top of that, having any insurance isn’t a requirement either!

My name is Joe Schmalz and I’m the President of Mr. Home Inspector, Inc. I realize that purchasing a home can be a very stressful time for anyone, and my primary goal is to help you understand this process.

So, allow me to explain what an inspection is, and how it can actually help and benefit you.

A home inspection consists of a non-invasive, visual inspection of your home and its systems. It’s important that you know the condition of the foundation, the roof, the a/c and heating sytems, along with the plumbing, electrical systems, appliances and everything else.

What You Receive…

Our Licensed and Insured Inspectors will spend three to four hours thoroughly evaluating all aspects of the Property you’re purchasing –  from the Roof to the Basement and all areas in between.

You’re welcome to come along with us during the inspection, in fact we encourage you to attend. Ok, if you’re a veteran home buyer it may not be as important that you’re there the entire time. However, if you’re new to the home buying process, it’s very important that you’re there from start to finish.

We’ll not only inspect the house you’re buying but we’ll share with you what needs to be maintained and why. You’ll get a real education about your new home. Don’t worry, we’ll explain everything in terms you can understand. We’re a “Jargon Free” Company!

After the inspection, you’ll receive both a detailed and a summary report outlining the inspection findings. Many of the existing homeowners living in the house are totally unaware of the fact their homes could potentially have problems that need major repairs… and I’m sure you don’t want to pay for these repairs yourself after moving in, do you?

That’s why having this information prior to closing puts you in a better position to negotiate price, repair costs, etc…

Now that you’re in the know… how do you select an inspector to inspect your potential new home?

My FREE Report, How to Avoid the Money Pit by Selecting the Right Home Inspector can help you select the right inspector. Just look over to the right, enter your name and email address and click the submit button – we’ll get it to you right away!

You’ll also receive a copy of an actual home inspection report so you’ll get an idea of what we look for during the course of an inspection. If an inspector refuses to send you a sample copy of their report, I’d suggest you continue looking!

You may have a ton of questions about the home inspection process, so feel free to browse through this site.
